SpeedBX LLC ("we", "our", or "us") operates the SBX Fleet mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the App.

1. Information We Collect

a) Location Data

The App requests precise GPS location (high accuracy) to display your position on the fleet map. Location is used only within the App and is not shared with third-party advertising services.

b) Account & User Data

Email address and password (used to authenticate you with your organization's fleet server)
Your name, role, and administrator status
Two-factor authentication (TOTP) codes, if enabled

c) Vehicle & Fleet Data

The App collects and displays real-time and historical data from connected vehicles, including:

GPS position, speed, and route history
Vehicle telemetry: RPM, battery level, lights, brakes, seatbelts, turn signals, and warnings
Driver assignments, geofences, and maintenance records

d) Bluetooth (BLE) Data

The App scans for and connects to Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) OBD devices paired to vehicles. BLE is used solely to receive vehicle telemetry and is not used to track individuals or share data externally.

2. How We Use Your Information

To authenticate you and provide access to your organization's fleet management system
To display real-time vehicle locations and telemetry on maps
To generate fleet reports and analytics for authorized users
To manage drivers, vehicles, geofences, and maintenance schedules

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or sell it to third parties.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your login credentials are stored in your device's secure storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore). All communication between the App and your fleet server is conducted over HTTPS. Vehicle and fleet data is stored on your organization's own Traccar-compatible server — SpeedBX LLC does not operate or have access to that server unless your organization explicitly uses our hosted service.

4. Third-Party Services

Expo / EAS — used for app delivery and over-the-air updates. Expo's privacy policy: expo.dev/privacy
MapLibre — open-source map rendering library. No data is transmitted to MapLibre servers.

No third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or data brokers are integrated into the App.

5. Permissions

6. Data Retention

The App does not independently retain data beyond your session. Fleet and vehicle data is retained according to your organization's server configuration. You may contact your fleet administrator to request deletion of account or historical data.

7. Children's Privacy

SBX Fleet is intended for use by fleet operators and drivers. It is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, please contact us at the email below or your organization's fleet administrator.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
